Youth Arts

Explore our diverse projects in performing and virtual arts.

Performing Arts

For young performers, YAF has produced numerous “Kids Helping Kids: Rock for a Cure” concerts across New York City, New Jersey, Vermont, and 32 Simon Malls nationwide. NYC venues have included The Studio at Webster Hall, Arlene’s Grocery, The National Underground, Slate, the Beekman Beer Garden, and our unofficial NYC home, The Bitter End. Other notable stages include The Stone Pony in New Jersey and various venues up and down the East Coast.

YAF covers venue costs, marketing, advertising, and production. When possible, we also assist with travel and lodging expenses for participating artists.

Virtual Arts

For visual artists, YAF distributes art supplies to those in need and collects, frames, and displays members' artwork. We have supported numerous gallery exhibitions designed to professionally showcase young talent from across the country. Past shows have been held in renowned spaces such as the NOHO Art Gallery on Mercer Street and, more recently, in partnership with the Parasol Project at the exclusive Rivington Street Gallery in Lower Manhattan.
